  • Value: $75 to $100
  • Size: 13 inches
  • Date of Production: 1930s
  • Mark: "H"on head.

Doll is all celluloid, with a cute toddler body. Clothes are detailed and completely removeable via snaps; doll has red leather shoes and socks; striped print skirt with trim matching green trim on sleeves. Hat has black ribbon down back. Doll has glass sleep eyes.

This is a nice-quality celluloid doll from an unknown maker. Dolls with removeable clothing of this sort have higher prices than dolls with sewn-on clothing. Nice quality to this folklore costume; not all folklore costumes have such good quality, so look carefully before buying.

Celluloid dolls in folklore costumes continue to stagnate, pricewise, with little movement in prices seen in the 9 years since this online price guide was introduced.
