Happy Go Lightly Barbie Doll Doesn't Go Lightly On Makeup
I love the name of this Barbie doll, I love the concept of this Barbie doll, I love the outfit of this Barbie doll...but the makeup. The makeup! Its so harsh--I can't help but thinking that Happy Go Lightly Barbie looks a bit like a drag queen. I KNOW that the effect that Robert Best was trying to achieve with this doll is the late 1950s/early 1960s heavily made up look that was popular in big cities like New York, but I just think this doll was overdone.
Happy Go Lightly Robert Best Barbie Doll is due out this August.
