DOLL CONSERVATION, REPAIR AND RESTORATION BIBLIOGRAPHY
Below you will find an extensive bibliography regarding doll repair, conservation
and restoration. I have included some excellent and
highly relevant books on
textile conservation and also on object conservation in museums, since many of those books
deal more accurately and objectively with conservation concerns than do the books
specifically written about repair and restoration of dolls.
Many of these books are currently in print and readily available; others are not. I have included links to these books on Amazon.com for your convenience and further information only--neither Doll Collecting at About.com or About have an affiliation with Amazon.com and we do not profit if you decide to purchase one of these books there.
There have also been many articles about doll restoration, conservation and repair in doll magazines, and there are relevant chapters in many general books about specific types of dolls.
