CHARACTERISTICS OF DOLL: Doll comes in a plain ecru box and wears a nostalgic-looking bra, panties, and stocking with garters set, plus white heels. Makeup is different than makeup for blonde Fashion Model.
PRICE: DOLL $200 to $300+ NRFB at online auctions such as eBay.
COMMENTS: Doll is one of the "Limited Edition" dolls for modern Barbies "limited" to 35,000 worldwide outfit is similarly limited. Doll and outfit are sold-out on the dealer level as of 9/00. Separate outfits available for this doll include "Lunch at the Club" and "Garden Party." Doll was designed by Barbie designer Robert Best.
MARKET REPORT: This doll has increased significantly in value since 2000, since it was the second doll in the very popular Silkstone / Lingerie Barbie series. The early Silkstone dolls have definitely bucked the trend on declining modern Barbie prices.
