Celebrate the 25th Birthday of the Cabbage Patch Kids Tomorrow in Times Square!

The Cabbage Patch Kids turn 25 years old tomorrow, September 9th! To celebrate their 25th birthday and the launch of the Limited Edition 25th Anniversary Cabbage Patch Kids, JAAKS Pacific is holding a gala birthday celebration tomorrow at the Toys“R”Us Times Square! Attendees will include toy expert Elizabeth Werner and celebrity chef Duff Goldman as well as Xavier Roberts, the artist who created the Cabbage Patch Kids. Party attendees will have the chance to have their photo taken with Mr. Roberts.
Additionally, attendees will have a chance to be among the first to purchase the Limited Edition 25th Anniversary Cabbage Patch Kids by Play Along, a division of JAKKS Pacific. These special edition Cabbage Patch Kids are replicas of the originals--this is the first time the original Kids have been on store shelves since the 1980s! And, as a bonus to collectors, the Anniversary ‘Kids sold at this event will feature special Certificates of Authenticity, hand-signed by Mr. Roberts.
The event will take place tomorrow, September 9th, 2008 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m, with cake being served at 2:30. Xavier Roberts will be available for photos from 3:30 to 5:00 pm.

About the 25th anniv kids.
They have already been in the stores and on ebay.
I am disappointed that they are much thinner then the Coleco kids.
These poor kids look like they need a good meal.
Alot of them look alike and they did not pick one of the most popular head molds #19.
So I am disappointed.
I am gathering research regarding corporate people, such as CEO’s and executives who have toy and/or doll collections. I was wondering if you knew of any. I have not found out as much information as I thought I would.
