Seam Me Up Luncheon at UFDC Convention Focuses on Sewing for Dolls
Wednesday July 30, 2008
One of the great things about attending a doll convention is that it introduces you to new types of dolls and also helps re-kindle your interest in dolls and doll activities that you already love but haven't been able to give your attention to for awhile. The Seam Me Up luncheon at the UFDC National Convention did exactly that for me! I've always loved sewing for dolls, but I just haven't had the time for it recently. Well, after attending this luncheon and listening to Patricia Gosh's inspiring presentation on sewing for dolls, I want to run right home and grab my sewing box and have a go at it! The souvenir of the lucheon was a practical and pretty sewing companion doll by Rosemarie Snyder (pictured is the sewing companion centerpiece doll from the event).

How lucky for you that you were able to attend. What is the doll made of. I can’t see from the pic. I wanted to go so bad, but we bought a house that day and I was busy. Tell tell tell all about the convention.
