Chat Divas - Barbie Dolls That Chat and Sing In a New High-Tech Way

Sure, you think you've seen lots of dolls that chat and sing (you know--pull the string or push the button, and the doll has a mechanism that says a phrase or sings). Well, you really haven't seen a doll talk and sing until you see Chat Divas! Chat Diva Barbie and Chat Diva Teresa move their heads and lips when they talk on their cell phone or sing songs. It's hard to imagine, but the doll's lips (these are average size Barbie dolls, 11 1/2 inches tall) move in a pretty realistic way. Not only do the dolls sing three pre-programmed songs on their doll-sized microphones, but if you plug in your iPod or other MP3 player Barbie will lip-synch and bop her head to its music! These dolls are part of a wave of dolls from Mattel that blend technology and traditional doll play. Chat Divas will be available in March, and they will retail for $29.99.
