Vinyl Dolls: Here, There and Everywhere

Monday June 12, 2006
Nearly all play dolls today are made of vinyl. In fact, nearly all play dolls made since the early 1960s have been made of vinyl. Vinyl is so popular as a doll material because of its properties. It is soft to the touch, which is great for cuddly baby dolls or flexible fashion dolls, Vinyl is also easy and inexpensive to mold, as well as durable and non-breakable. Many modern doll companies have also turned to vinyl as a material for high-end collector dolls. Learn about the pros and cons of vinyl dolls in the Vinyl Dolls Profile.
