Saturday August 27, 2005
Even if you don't know much about antique dolls, chances are you have seen an Armand Marseille antique bisque doll. Armand Marseille was one of the most prolific doll makers right around the turn of the century (1900) and they made bisque dolls for over 40 years. Armand Marseille dolls are pleniful in the attics and antique malls of America. Yet, many of the Armand Marseille dolls are quality dolls which are well made. Hello Denise,
Gail again asking for advice on selling some of my Yolanda Bello Baby Dolls. I know that you had told me to be careful on selling any dolls on eBay, which I plan on not selling any there as I’m scared of it and I don’t know what I’m doing.
How do I go about finding out the true value of these dolls? I wants had magazines to go by but now they have gone out of business.
I have Madame Alaexanders that are all out of date and can’t find any true value on them either.
I know that you told me once to sell any dolls at the doll shows but I need a value on them. Can you help me?
Sincerely,
Gail T. at shoppinjean@yahoo.com
