New 10" Coquette Cissy Announced By Madame Alexander

OK, I'll admit it--I had an inkling that this was going to happen after hearing some off-the-record remarks at Toy Fair. But, now I am finally happy to announce that Madame Alexander is releasing a 10" size Cissy doll! This is NOT a Cissette--it is a 21" Cissy brought down to 10" scale, the way that the 18" Kitty Collier was brought down to a 10" scale doll by Robert Tonner.

Given the popularity of this size doll with fashion collectors, the new "Coquette Cissy" should be a big hit. Collectors are hoping that the doll will be able to share outfits with Tiny Kitty and also some Barbie dolls.

Two dressed dolls and five outfits will be released this Fall. The first two releases are "New Beginning Coquette Cissy" (short red hair in a classic, fun outfit) and Chic Classic Coquette" (long black hair and bangs in red boucle Chanel suit!) So far, details on the outfits haven't been released, nor has the suggested retail price. I'll have more information and a review of the doll in my series of Fashion Doll Reviews as soon as I can obtain one.
