I was very impressed by this year's Madame Alexander line of dolls. I thought last year's line was spectacular, but the company has outdone themselves in 2004, with innovation as well as detail in costuming continuing to be top priority. Plus, the company has responded to collector concerns by lowering the prices of several Wendy dolls (to $49.99 suggested retail) and also fo the basic Mod Alex (to $69.99).
