Gene Fan Appreciation Exclusive Announced

Ashton Drake has just announced their exclusive Gene for Gene Fan Appreciation this Fall. The doll, "Bon Bon," will be made in a very limited editon of 500 dolls. Bon Bon was designed by Van Craig, an artist known for his window treatments for Sak's Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. Bon Bon's story is that she "is a chartacter in the film of the same name. She's a high-profile showgirl in the style of the recent hit film Moulin Rouge. As Bon Bon, Gene is draped in lavish costuming, dripping with beads and spangles, performing a cabaret number where she and other showgirls emerge from a large candy box, much to the delight of the crowd."

This Gene is being specially allocated among dealers. With her elaborate headdress and metallic trim, and her pink hair, she's very original and should be sought-after by collectors. She will retail for $149.99.
