How To Play With Fashion Dolls

Dolls In Their Trunk

Denise Van Patten

Playing With Tyler Wentworth And Similar Fashion Dolls

This photo essay will walk you through how I play with my Tyler Wentworth, Sydney Chase and other similar sized (15 to 16 inch) fashion dolls. Of course, the play principles I show here can apply to any size fashion dolls, including smaller ones such as Barbie and larger ones such as the Tonner American Models or Kitty Collier.

This photo shows three dolls in one of my Deluxe Tyler Wentworth trunks - a Basic Sydney Chase and two Signature Style Tyler Wentworth dolls. You can also see two of my Marley Wentworth dolls (Tyler's little sister) peeking in at the corner of the case. Also shown in the photo are the trunk drawers which hold organized accessories (jewelry in one drawer, lingerie in another, sunglasses and other accessories in a third, etc.) and a bit of the clothing. These trunks are wonderful for playing with and enjoying your dolls; literally, I've thrown out all of the boxes for these dolls and the clothing. If I had kept the boxes, it could have taken up an entire closet in my home. The trunk is much more compact, and makes everything much more accessible.
