Matoka From Somalia, Nia From Botswana and Niathi From Kenya in the 2005 Annette Himstedt Collection

These three dolls are from the Africa part of the collection. Matoka is from Somalia, and Nia is from Botswana, with Ntathi being a proud Maasai child from Kenya.

Annette Himstedt used a new painting technique this year, which really shows on the skin of these three dolls. Matoka is 33 1/2" tall, limited to 377 pieces and she has a suggested retail of $722. Ntathi is a club doll. She is limited to 377, and is 38 1/4" tall. She is fully jointed with the upper arms, elbows and knees having jointing, and she has a suggested retail of $918.
