2008 Collectible Barbie Dolls Photo Gallery

Mattel's Barbie Collector division showcased another great collection of collectible Barbie dolls at Toy Fair 2008 in New York. The 2008 line of Barbies created especially for collectors includes five vintage reproductions including the first ever reproduction of Alan (in a giftset with Midge), a Ken and Barbie Campus Sweet Shop Giftset, and another reproduction of the popular side-part American Girl. The Fashion Model (Silkstone) line has a Parisienne Sketchbook theme, and there are more great Fashion-designer themes. Collectors will be excited about Ethel appearing with Lucy for the first time in this year's "I Love Lucy" piece, and there is an all-new and nicely designed series of Superheroes, including Batgirl and Wonder Woman. This photo gallery consists of more than 60 photos of the new 2008 Barbie dolls, including close ups where available and also photos of the Silkstones. All photos were taken at the 2008 International Toy Fair in New York.
