French Poulbot Character Doll at Theriault's Auction in Philadelphia
One of the highlights of the convention is a huge dolls salesroom which features over 100 international doll dealers. The salesroom is open for four days of the convention.Additionally, there are other "satellite" events which happen concurrently, or just before, the convention. These include additional auctions (the photo is of a French bisque character doll, Nenette by Poulbot, c. 1914, which was auctioned at the Theriault's auction), another doll show (this one by the Rowbears) and ODACA (Original Doll Artist Council of America) and NIADA (National Institute of American Doll Artists) conferences.
All the events add to the fun and great choice of activities that are available for the week of convention.
