Plenty To Do and Learn For Buyers and Sellers Of Dolls on eBay
Registrations are still available, and doll collectors who buy or sell on eBay who have a chance to attend should consider it. eBay Live! is an information and community-building, very packed three days. Although I do think the conference offers more to sellers than to buyers, the conference does include classes geared toward buyers (such as Buying 101), opportunities to network face to face with other buyers and sellers of dolls, plus rare chances to meet eBay executives in person.
Highlights of eBay Live! 2007
Highlights this year include inspirational guest speakers that would appeal to buyer and sellers alike, such as Suze Orman (personal finance expert), Seth Godin (well-known blogger, bestselling author and founder of Squidoo.com) and John Gardner, author of Chicken Soup for the Entrepreneurs Soul. Meg Whitman will speak at the Keynote address on Thursday, and the closing gala will feature Kool and the Gang.
I'll Be Attending eBay Live! 2007
As a person who very actively sells and buys on eBay, I try to attend an eBay Live! at least once every two years. My last eBay Live! was in 2005 in San Jose, so I'm all set to attend this year's conference in Boston. I'll report on major announcements and initiatives, my "finds" in the Help Hall (eBay and third party tools and services that, hopefully, can make your buying and selling on eBay easier) plus the overall fun and hoopla of the conference. As a seller who has strongly disagreed with some major eBay decisions in the past two years, you can count on me to "tell it like it is" and give you my take on how the latest from eBay will affect our doll collecting community.
If you are attending eBay Live! and you recognize me from this site, please come up and introduce yourself! I'd love to meet you and also get your take on this year's eBay Live! as well.
