No. 5 and Nol 6 Ponytail Barbies have firmer textured hair. Also, up until No. 5 and No. 6 Barbie dolls, Barbie dolls only had blonde and brunette hair colors. With the advent of the No. 5 Ponytail Barbie, additional shades of hair were available including titian. No. 6 Ponytail Barbies tended to also have broader faces.
