Pierre Omidyar at eBay Live After His Fireside Chat
On Friday afternoon, Pierre Omidyar, the founder of eBay,gave a 10th Anniversary "Fireside Chat" attended by roughly 3,000 people. It was interesting to hear about the early days of eBay--how it grew from an apartment to a small office to a big office...to today's campus, and how the company lured Meg Whitman to be their CEO.
After the chat, I ran into Pierre in the lobby of his hotel. I was honored to speak with him, and he graciously posed for this photo for this web site.
