If You Collect Dolls, Should You Go to eBay Live?
In this recap, I promised to answer the question of whether or not active sellers and/or buyers of dolls would get enough out of eBay Live! to make it worth it.
As a seller of dolls, I think the answer is an unqualified yes. As a buyer of dolls, my answer is a bit more mixed.
As a seller of dolls, I learned so much about eBay, tools for selling on eBay, and improving my auctions and store listings that I was actually surprised! After all, I've taught courses on how to buy and sell dolls on eBay for many years. I'm a PowerSeller on eBay, so the things that I learned will impact my bottom line.
As a buyer of dolls, I'm not sure if you would get enough out of the conference to make it worthwhile, since the seminars and most of the booths seem geared toward sellers. However, that said, if you are a die-hard buyer of dolls on eBay, you might well enjoy the community feeling, the networking with other collectors, and, of course, the partying and fun. In 2006, eBay Live! will be in Las Vegas.
