Shop At Home Gets Into Dolls!

11/22/98

Shop At Home, a network available on some cable systems, has recently started putting together a doll show. After jumping around time slots for awhile, it is now being aired regularly on Saturdays at 2 p.m. (EST). Hosted by longtime doll collector Betty Leigh, they have featured a number of very reasonably priced dolls from a variety of sources interspersed with some plush, Beanie Babies, and a really lovely doll house.

At present, this is a fledgling effort and Betty is genuinely interested in knowing what the viewers would like to see. Here is a chance to have your input seriously considered! You can be a part right at the start and watch these shows grow into a real source of dolls for your collection. If you can watch (I'll have a list of markets where this network is available as soon as I can), tune in next Saturday (Nov. 28). Betty will be there and I'll be calling in during the show to discuss some of the dolls. Then let me know what you think of the show, what you would like to see in future, and that you will be watching. And you can e-mail Betty direct from their site, too.

Updates as they happen. Happy collecting!
