The following is a list of doll books released in 2001.  Some are already available on store shelves and via the Internet, and others are out of print. The 15th Doll Blue Book and the 5th edition of the Doll Values books have been replaced by later editions. 

Other topics covered by books published in 2001 included Celebrity Dolls, GI Joe, Kewpies, and others.  New commentary books included "Barbie Talks!: An Expose' of the First Talking Barbie Doll. the Humorous and Poignant Adventures of Two Former Mattel Toy Designers" and "Enchanted Companions."

For antique collectors, "The Story of German Doll Making, 1530-2000" and the "Nippon Dolls & Playthings" book, were very well received
