CHARACTERISTICS OF DOLL: Florentine is a dressed doll from the 2002 line. The doll has flowing auburn curls and a gown in a custom silk brocade with beading. The doll originally sold for $169.99 and was issued in a limited edition of 1,500 dolls.
PRICE: This doll still sells for retail, $169.99 or below; scarce on secondary market.
COMMENTS: Very elegant in design and presentation.
MARKET REPORT: Somewhat hard-to-find in the secondary market this doll can still be purchased when found at or below retail. This may be because there are so many styles to choose from in the Tyler Wentworth collection; nevertheless, the doll may appreciate in the future because of the fine design AND the high quality of the gown, just like for Papillion.
