CHARACTERISTICS OF DOLL: Closed mouth; long hair in sausage curls. Holding an adorable brown teddy bear with a pink night hat. Doll is presented in the new style lift-off box.
PRICE: Approximately $25 to $40 on eBay.
COMMENTS: Well, I know they didn't have polyester dresses in the Victorian era, but this is still a cute doll, well-presented. This doll is a Collector's Edition, which means that it can be produced in an edition of over 35,000. Doll doesn't wear underwear, which is fairly scandalous for a Victorian teenager.
MARKET REPORT: An attractive and well-presented doll that has its price hovering at just below original retail, due to the recent crash of the Collectible Barbie market. If the market picks up again, this doll is poised to do well.
