DOLL ACCESSORY:  French hat-making set for Bebes in lovely presentation box.

SIZE: 13" across front

MARKS:  "PARIS MODE" on cover. 

DATE OF PRODUCTION: circa 1895.

CHARACTERISTICS:  Lovely all-original set includes little straw hats, ribbons, flower trims, thread,  a hat stand and more to fashion hats for Bebes.  Includes original "Bebenina Revue des Modes de ma Poupee" booklet with instructions and advertisements.

PRICE: $550 at auction.

COMMENTS:  Well-preserved complete set! 

MARKET REPORT: Unusual and hard-to-find doll related accessory and presentation sets continue to do well.  Watch condition--this set with used-up parts or missing pieces sells for considerably less, and in even mintier condition, considerably more.
