CHARACTERISTICS OF DOLL: Brown haired, blue eyed Betsy wears a plaid dress (red with green, yellow, and white accents) and a red corduroy coat. The coat is lined with material that matches the dress. Underneath the dress are a white half-slip with lace edging and white pantaloons. She wears little black shoes and white socks.
PRICE: $250 plus
COMMENTS: This is the first available Robert Tonner reproduction of the 8" bent knee Betsy McCall. This "travel doll" was the souvenir at the 2000 UFDC Betsy Visits the Windy City" dinner at National Convention. This doll will not be available to the general public until January 2001. Doll was distributed with a Helen Boothe pattern for additional clothes (including a bolero vest, a Dutch outfit, and an Oriental kimono).
MARKET TREND: This doll has increased in value since its introduction in 2001.
