MARKS: Besides the marks on doll, Jacket has a cloth tag that says "Barbie 1998 Reproduction".
DATE OF PRODUCTION: 1998
CHARACTERISTICS OF DOLL: Doll comes dressed in a reproduction Smasheroo fashion (that is very well done!). Outfit includes furry yellow hat, furry yellow jacket, red boots, red and yellow and grey striped dress with god buttons, gold chain belt and lacy yellow thigh stockings.
PRICE: At eBay and similar online auctions, $28 to $35 NRFB.
COMMENTS: Box is retro-in feel with a simple lift-off top and box liner. Doll also comes in brunette (this one is a red head); prices are similar. Stand is included.
MARKET REPORT: The Twist and Turn Barbie reproduction in Smasheroo has gone down slightly in value since its release in 1998, caught in a general dowtun in prices on Modern Collectible Barbie dolls which has been brought on by the large supply of secondary market dolls on eBay.
