CHARACTERISTICS OF DOLL: Hollywood Nails Barbie comes dressed in several clothing pieces that can be mixed and matched to make your own outfits, including a turquoise jumper dress with silver stars. Underneath the jumper is another, longer dress. There is also a fuzzy skirt and a very interesting scarf that has photos of Barbies screened onto it. She wears green glitter platform shoes and carries a green pillbox style purse Her hair is long and blonde, streaked with brown. Also included are press-on nails, adhesive, nail polish, glitter and a glitter shaker.
PRICE: At online auctions such as eBay, $5 to $11.
COMMENTS: A great play doll in the "pink box" line. Nicely packaged with very interesting outfit and nicely done face paint. There are also Hollywood Nails Christie and Teresa dolls
MARKET REPORT: Didn't anybody take these dolls out of the box and play with them? Hollywood Nails is a great pink-line Barbie, but prices have been caught in the general downturn in pink-box Barbie prices due to the huge supply glut of these modern collectible Barbie dolls on eBay.
