DATE OF PRODUCTION:  1997

CHARACTERISTICS OF DOLL:  This is a reproduction of the Bubble Cut Barbie doll from the early 1960s, plus reproductions of the Silken Flame and Red Flare outfits from the early 60s. 

PRICE:  The market for this doll is very soft due to overproduction; NRFB from $12 to $25 on eBay and similar online auction sites.  

COMMENTS:    Doll also comes in brunette.  Despite the low secondary market price, the doll is very pretty and a good choice if you want to purchase  a reproduction doll at low cost for customizing. 

MARKET REPORT: This doll has always had soft demand due to overproduction and the open-window box that is out of favor with vintage Reproduction collectors.
