COMMENTS: This fashion doll was produced to compete with Barbie. She was never as popular as Barbie (despite wonderful quality clothing) and was discontinued after only a few years of production. Many mothers in the 1960s preferred Tammy to Barbie because of her more--ahem--realistic proportions.
MARKET TREND: Prices for loose, average dolls have decreased in the last 5 years, but prices for MIB dolls have increases slightly.
