CHARACTERISTICS OF DOLL: Doll is a bisque shoulder-head with closed mouth, sleep eyes, feathered brows and individually painted lashes. Body is kid, hands are bisque.
PRICE: For a completely excellent doll with antique clothes, approximately $700.
COMMENTS: Closed-mouth dolls are very sought-after by collectors.
MARKET REPORT: These dolls vary in price greatly depending on painting of the face and expression. A doll with this sweet, serene expression will do $600-$800; dolls with less desirable expressions and painting that is not as well done can sell for under $400.
