CHARACTERISTICS OF DOLL:  Vinyl; straight legs, painted features.  Freckles.

PRICE: Doll alone $400 to $70 mint; Doll MIB up to $175-200.

COMMENTS: Midge is Barbie's best friend. Dolls come dressed in a two piece swimsuit available in a variety of colors.  Dolls are found in rare versions without freckles or with teeth. Midge's boyfriend is the doll "Alan."

MARKET REPORT: Midge dolls definitely have more sellers on eBay than buyers, and except for the very crispest mint dolls, the value has definitely declined for vintage, Straight leg Midge in the past 5 years.
