How to Save Clip Art

Here's how to save clip art found on this site on your own computer, for your own use.

Difficulty Level: Easy      Time Required: 2 minutes


Here's How:
  1. If you use Windows, right click with your mouse on the image you want to save.
  2. From the dialog box that appears, select "Save Picture As..."
  3. Type in the name you want for the file, or use the default name
  4. Now, save the file to the directory of your choice.    You now have the clip art image on your computer!
  5. If you use a Mac, click on the image you want and hold down the mouse button.
  6. Select "Save Image As..."
  7. Type in the name you want for the file, or use the default name
  8. save the file to the directory of your choice.  You now have the image on your computer!
  9. Whether you use Windows or a MAC, please DO NOT link directly to the graphic images on this site.  You MUST save the images to your hard drive in order to use them.
Tips:
  1. If you are an AOL user, you must disable the "compressed images" option to save pictures in this manner!  To do this, click on "My AOL" then "Preferences."  Then, click "WWW."  Click on the tab "Web Graphics," and there, make sure that "Use compressed graphics" is NOT checked."
