ROBERT TONNER 1999 UFDC CONVENTION DOLL

14 1/2" all porcelain lady designed by Robert Tonner. The title of the Convention was   "Opulence and Elegance," and the doll was created to represent this theme.  The doll was  was inspired by a 1760's painting "Juene Fille aux Chats," and a sculpted cat (not pictured) was also presented to convention goers at the last evening conventoin banquet, where this doll was given as the Souveneir doll to all full registrants.  The doll was produced in a limited editon of 1875.
