DOLL ARTIST GALLERY

LITTLE HIKER

submitted, designed, and made by Martha Johnson

Galhiker.jpg (37638 bytes)Here is my "Little Hiker".  This doll is sculpted from photos of my older son.  The doll is 18 inches tall, with head,shoulder/breastplate, hands and lower leg to knee of ProSculpt polymer clay.   His head is hollow with eyes set in after the clay is cured.  His romex wire skeleton in soft sculptured body with his reverse socketed neck make him fully poseable.   All of his clothing is removable including his "real" hiking boots with "vivram" soles of Sculpey super flex.   His jeans have authentic stitching.  He carries a rucksack containing his lunch and a book. Around his waist is a US army surplus ammo belt with canteen.

More  photos of "Little Hiker" and his friends can be seen in my album at
