HOLIDAY HOME-RUN THIS YEAR FOR U.S. TOY INDUSTRY: Well, other
than Playstation II, I could have told you that--my Santa Panic List is
almost a snoozer so far this year, when last year people just couldn't
find SO many hot toys. Are parents getting smarter, is there nothing
exciting out there, or have the toy makers finally learned how to stock
the right amount of toys for the holiday?
No
holiday home-run this year for U.S. toy industry.
Or, see why Fox News thinks that its the fault of the current hot
"big toys" called Al Gore and George Bush that have kept this
holiday toy season so calm!
No Must-Have Toy This Holiday
The
Santa PANIC List: Updated, November 30! Check out my week-by-week account of
secondary market prices on eBay and other online retailers for toys and
dolls that are popular and hard to find this holiday season. So far,
other than the Sony Playstation II, and some collector items like Madra in
Black Widow, no real crises have developed in doll and toy supplies.
BUT...its early in the season...and, prices for certain items like the
Lego Championship Soccer set ARE inching upward! The
Santa Panic List.
