You know you're a serious doll collector when

...you stare down anyone looking at your Barbie collection to make sure they don't touch the boxes and leave marks. MINTWOLF 

...you have spent $500 for an antique French doll outfit, but you have never spent that much for an outfit for yourself! CWEATHER 

...you act like a JUNKIE who can't get a fix when you are away from your computer for a weekend and can't access eBay, About.com, Theriaults, Vicki's (fill in the blank with your favorite doll site!). AB_COLCTDOLL 

...your doll collection is now spilling over into the den where the computer is. This room is full of bookcases filled with Military Role Playing Games (hubby's a history buff) and this was intended to be his escape! So much for that! ROMAMAY

...you buy your granddaughters lots of dolls even though they don't seem to enjoy them very much (drat - maybe the next one I get them will do the trick!). IAMANON 

...you and hubby plan a visit to see his folks at their camp in New Jersey. Next step run to the doll magazines and then the computer to do a search for doll shops within a 50 mile radius. ROMAMAY

...you come home from work and run straight to your dolls! JFMDOLTON

...your hubby tells you that you should have bought more than one of those dolls after you tell him that it has been retired and on the secondary market for a handsome price ROMAMAY
