Sad News: Dorothy Coleman Dies: Doll
research pioneer Dorothy Coleman passed away this month. leaving a huge
void in the world of Doll Collecting. Along with her daughters,
Elizabeth Ann and Evelyn Jane, she authored the classic 2-volume
"Doll Collectors Encyclopedia" as well as many other
titles. She was always willing to share her knowledge with others,
and will be sorely missed. Ann has asked that any donations be
made to the fund established for Jane and now Dorothy, called the Coleman
Memorial Scholarship Fund. It is a special UFDC Fund that is under Real
Services. Donations should be sent to the UFDC office in Kansas
City. www.ufdc.org Matheriaults
