CHARACTERISTICS OF DOLL: Vinyl. This is the original Ken doll, introduced in 1961, with flocked hair. This Ken is dressed in "Going Huntin" outfit #1409 (which came with boots in 1964 but not in 1965. Outfit also comes with a red plastic hat, which has been omitted here so you can see the flocked blonde hair.
PRICE: Doll alone, approximately $100. Going Huntin outfit, M/C, $40 to $50.
COMMENTS: Most #1 Kens are missing some percentage of their flocking. This Ken has all of his flocked hair.
