SOFA CLOTH DOLL

submitted, designed, and made by Jacqueline Casey   caseyj@dnet.net

Galcloth.jpg (30148 bytes)This doll does have a bit of history.  Did it specifically for The Cloth Doll Challenge about 2 years ago.  She has been 'around'.  She was my submission to the 1999 Wenham Museum Show.  Though she received no commendation from The Cloth Doll show,  I thought she was 'pretty darn good' & should have placed somewhere in the running.  It is difficult for an artist to 'blow her own horn' (alot more fun for others to 'fawn' over you), but she remains a stubborn lass & keeps turning up in all kinds of places--irregardless of what others think of her (the totally 'modern woman?). She is a combo of cloth and clay.  She IS a cloth doll that started from a simple ball of clay.  Hope you like her!  (If you don't, she will probably crash your party anyway, totally uninvited!).
