Whether it means debuting a new boys blockbuster with ghoulish humor or a classic collectible doll which appeals to both moms and daughters, the Madame Alexander/Stretch Screamer Happy Meal event is certain to delight children and collectors of all ages.
Madame Alexander All Dolled-Up Making their Happy Meal debut in 2002, Madame Alexander dolls quickly became one of the most popular Happy Meal toys of all time earning a spot on McDonalds top ten list of Happy Meal Toys and an award for Best Marketing Campaign of the Year during the third annual Toy of the Year Awards held at Toy Fair 2003. These highly collectible and popular dolls will once again be delighting children and collectors of all ages during this much-anticipated return to McDonalds Happy Meals. The new Madame Alexander Happy Meal toys feature storybook and contemporary characters including: Rapunzel, Pink Fairy, Hannah Pepper, Hannah Peppers Friend, Lady Bug Girl, Its Raining Doll; and especially for the season, a Halloween Pumpkin Costume Doll and Halloween Leopard Costumed Doll. Extending the wedding party introduced last year with the bride and groom, this years Happy Meal will offer Caucasian and African American versions of the Madame Alexander Flower Girl and Ring Carrier.
The new characters capture the same quality and timeless charm Madame Alexander has been known for for 80 years. Standing 4 ¾ inches tall, each doll features moveable parts, sleep eyes that open and close (an innovation introduced to the toy industry by Madame Alexander in the 1930s), detailed face painting and rooted hair. McDonalds and Madame Alexander worked closely to ensure the dolls were produced with special details in order to capture the charm of the full-sized dolls which retail for more than $50.
The McDonalds Madame Alexander Happy Meal event will run from October 3, 2003 October 30, 2003 at participating McDonalds restaurants nationwide, while supplies last.
