Denise Van Patten is a long-time doll collector, a dealer of modern, vintage and antique dolls, a writer and a dollmaking instructor. Denise is the author of The Official Price Guide To Dolls, recently published by Random House Books, and the proprietress of Katherine's Cottage, which offers modern, vintage and antique dolls for sale.

Experience:

Besides running Katherine's Cottage, Denise has also operated a Seeley's Dollmaking Studio in Northern California. Denise is a member of the United Federation of Doll Clubs, and she lectures on dolls nationally. Denise's articles have been featured in many magazines, and Denise was the editor of the Doll Reader magazine web site from 2001-2002.

Education:

Education: Denise has a B.A. in Journalism and Political Science from Syracuse University, and a J.D. from Georgetown University.
