Cross-over collectibles are always hot, and advertising dolls are a very popular collecting cross-over that mixes advertising memorabilia with dolls! Many advertising dolls were sold during the 20th Century as premiums for devoted consumers of a product (for example, girls who would collect cereal box-tops and send them into a manufacturer in exchange for a doll).
