Hard Plastic Dolls--Delighting Collectors For Over 60 Years
Wednesday July 9, 2008
Hard Plastic Dolls were popular from the late 1940s through the 1950s. Durable, and with the ability to be beautifully and crisply molded, hard plastic was the doll material of choice for American doll manufacturers until a newer technology--vinyl platics--overtook the market. Today, collectors eagerly collect the best of the vintage hard plastic dolls, which include Toni, Ginny, American Character Dolls, Arranbee Dolls, Madame Alexander and many others.
