2006 Collectible Barbie Dolls: A Strong Group of Diverse Dolls

At Toy Fair 2006, Mattel did something it hadn't done in recent years--it unveiled quite a few totally new dolls. Lately, Mattel has released the majority of new doll designs on the Barbie Collectible site before Toy Fair, which made Toy Fair (and the start of the doll year) a bit anti-climatic. This year, it was exciting to see so many new dolls, including several vintage reproductions, several gorgeous Silkstone Barbie dolls and even an all-new Bob Mackie Holiday Barbie.
