Toy Fair 2004 Concludes With A Flourish

Thursday February 19, 2004
The last day of Toy Fair is always my favorite. Many buyers and most of the media have already gone home. The aisles are less crowded, and its the perfect day to walk the floor and discover dolls and other gems you wouldn't otherwise see.

So, yesterday, I did just that--I started about 8 a.m. and I walked every single aisle of Toy Fair at Javitz. This is no small feat--overall, I must have walked several miles.

I found some real gems--new dolls, related doll accessories and clothing (which I'll share with everyone this week, when I return home). Although there is a "doll pavillion" where most of the doll booths are, there are always dolls and doll retailers scattered throuhout all of Javitz.

This concludes my live reporting from Toy Fair 2004. Look for articles and photos all this week--for an idea of the converage you'll see, don't miss my articles on last year's Toy Fair including The Toy Fair News Index, Toy Fair 2003: Back To Basics (remember the Blizzard?).
