Lee Middleton Dolls Announces New Mid-Year Releases

Thursday July 10, 2003
I must say I'm very impressed with how the Lee Middleton Original Doll Company is trying to generate collector interest of late.

First, acknowledging the slow economy, they lower prices on their entire line, without reducing the quality of the dolls. Then, they come out with mid-year releases that are extremely limited--in most cases, only 500 to 1000 dolls. In the past, most editions have been 2000 dolls or more.

Already, Lee Middleton baby doll collectors have been flocking to my stores, placing many more pre-orders than usual. This can only be a good thing for Lee Middleton Dolls, and for baby doll collectors in general. I hope that other doll companies have taken note of these strategies and will follow suit.
